Date:
17/08/2009

Six Outer Island Elementary schools will be powered by Solar Energy by the end of 2009. The REP-5 project will install 6kWp to 12 kWp systems on Arno, Ebon, Namdrik, Mejit and Namu atolls, bringing electricity to more than 650 students and teachers. To date the systems have been installed at Ine School on Arno and at Ebon and Toka Schools on Ebon atoll. The next school scheduled for installation is Namdrik.
